Neuro-Ophthalmology

Neuro-Ophthalmology Service

The Neuro-Ophthalmology Service is dedicated to excellence in the diagnosis of eye disorders that accompany neurological disease and disease of the optic nerve and eye muscles. Vision loss and eye movement abnormalities resulting from brain tumors, strokes, multiple sclerosis, head trauma, or neuro-degenerative conditions are evaluated by the service. Complex diagnostic problems and ocular manifestations of systemic diseases also fall within the service’s expertise.

If you are a patient seeking information about scheduling an appointment, browse Patient Information. You will find useful information about your visit and the types of people involved in your care in What to Expect at Your Visit.

If you are a physician in need of referral information, go to Referrals/Services for a list of provided services and referral numbers.

In Meet the Doctors, you will find short biographical sketches of the Neuro-Ophthalmology faculty members. This will be helpful for physicians referring patients with special problems or for patients seeking information about the Neuro-Ophthalmology faculty.
